Homework for Room Nine

Week of November 16, 2015

Language Arts - "The Lemonade War"

We are almost done reading "The Lemonade War." Students should make certain they have completed ALL writing prompts in our Classroom OneNote before we finish the novel. Students should also be preparing for our end-of-novel challenge: using Minecraft to create the Lemonade Stand WE would create for a Lemonade War!

MATH - Order of Operations & Writing Expressions

We will be practicing the order of operations (ask your student what "Please Excuse My Dear Aunt Sally" means!) and working hard to convert words into number expressions. Remember to have your student continue practicing on Xtramath.org!

HOMEWORK: CHARGE YOUR DEVICE FULLY EVERY NIGHT and BRING IT TO SCHOOL EVERY DAY!

Please leave your charger at home!

Spirit Day is EVERY FRIDAY!!

Almost EVERY Friday is SPIRIT DAY at Lincoln!  Remind your child to show his/her pride in Lincoln by wearing Lincoln Spirit Wear or any shirt that's Lincoln blue!  Get out those BLUE shirts and show 'em that RAIDERS ROCK!

Other:

  • No food, gum or drink allowed in class, EXCEPT for water.
  • No hats or hoods allowed in class.
