Week of October 19, 2015

Language Arts - "Katie's Trunk"

We will be reading "Katie's Trunk" and taking a Reading Counts! test on it!

Students have TWO projects due by Monday, September 28, 2015:

     1) Sway Feels Like My Home! - Thinking of Katie in the story we just read, we're going to make a Sway of things that remind us of home!

     2) Literary Recreation - Students will choose one of the two books we've read as a class thus far - "Number the Stars" or "Joey Pigza 

          Swallowed the Key" - and pick a favorite scene and recreate it digitally using any format they choose.

Both assignments MUST be posted to our classroom OneNote by Monday, September 28, 2015!

MATH - Chapter Two: Multiplication & Chapter Test!

We will be practicing our basic math facts while reviewing Prime and Composite numbers! If we get enough done, we'll take the test!

HOMEWORK: CHARGE YOUR DEVICE FULLY EVERY NIGHT and BRING IT TO SCHOOL EVERY DAY!

Please leave your charger at home!

Spirit Day is EVERY FRIDAY!!  

Almost EVERY Friday is SPIRIT DAY at Lincoln!  Remind your child to show his/her pride in Lincoln by wearing Lincoln Spirit Wear or any shirt that's Lincoln blue!  Get out those BLUE shirts and show 'em that RAIDERS ROCK!

Other: 

• No food, gum or drink allowed in class, EXCEPT for water.   
• No hats or hoods allowed in class.
