Lincoln School's Room Nine Kids and Their Families!
Get ready to use some great educational technology!
Of course, you're still going to have to do your homework, but in Mrs. Dunbar's class, you'll learn all those common core standards through communication, collaboration, critical-thinking and creativity! We love to use technology to help us reach out to the world and achieve our goals! We'll be participating in such global project-based learning as: World Wonder Day, Climate Change Around the World, Human Differences and The Wallenburg Cube Project, just to name a few! We'll use Mystery Skype, Guest Speakers, BreakoutEDU and Minecraft to help us learn what we need to know and prepare us for our future! Lastly, we'll be Liberating Our Genius through the year-long Genius Hour Project! It's really going to be a digital year!
Of course, there will still be time when you need a Number Two pencil!
Whatever the format, you're going to learn everything you need to learn and then some during your time in Room Nine!
Then click on the RED "Read The Modesto Bee" button.
This is for all families of Room Nine to access from anywhere: at home, at the library, at school!
Here are some handy sites to practice that all-important 5th Grade Skill: Multiplication!
You already know that Fifth grade was ALL about the times tables! Nearly everything we do -- from reducing fractions to finding the mean to calculating area involves multiplication. To help you keep your skills sharp, here are some websites that should help you learn them forward & backward!
"We the People, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, ensure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America."
